Dr Harsh Chalana is a distinguished psychiatrist, bringing a wealth of international experience and an unwavering commitment to mental health care. Born and raised overseas, his academic journey transcended borders, ultimately establishing him as a highly regarded consultant psychiatrist in Australia. With a solid foundation in psychiatry forged through graduate and postgraduate studies abroad, D. Chalana meticulously honed his skills and deepened his understanding of the human mind’s intricate workings. His passion for psychiatry propelled him to explore various aspects of mental health, encompassing both research and clinical practice. As a seasoned consultant psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience, Dr Chalana has earned the trust and respect of the mental health community. His pivotal decision to call Australia his professional home came to fruition after completing rigorous training with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) in 2019.
Dr Chalana’s expertise spans a wide spectrum of psychiatric disorders, underpinned by a compassionate approach to patient care that has garnered him an exceptional reputation. He is dedicated to delivering evidence-based treatments and crafting personalized care plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Dr Chalana serves as a Consultant Psychiatrist within the public sector, concurrently holding the esteemed position of an accredited supervisor for psychiatrists in training. He maintains affiliations with the ADHD network and the Faculty of Adult Psychiatry of the RANZCP, showcasing his broad professional focus on various psychiatric conditions.
