Dr Frank Chen is a general paediatrician with an special interest in developmental & behavioural difficulties. He sees patients from newborns to adolescents (up to age 15).
Dr Frank Chen graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Otago in New Zealand. He completed his paediatric training at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

Working Experience
After completing his medical degree in New Zealand, Frank discovered the joy of working with kids and found his passion in paediatrics. He has worked as a paediatrician in New Zealand, Australia, and Ireland and completed his specialist training at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Frank holds concurrent positions as a consultant paediatrician within a multidisciplinary child trauma service in remote NSW and at a private ADHD and behavioural difficulties paediatric service.

Special Interest
Dr Frank Chen has special interests in the assessment and the management of pediatric developmental and behavioural conditions such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Developmental delay, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Oppositional behaviours, Sleep disorders, Learning difficulties, Language disorders, Tics and Tourettes Disorder, Anger issues, Anxiety and depression etc.
Dr Frank Chen is passionate about working holistically and in collaboration with parents, GPs, psychiatrists, psychologists, school teachers, and other allied health professionals. This is particularly important for children with disabilities and complex medical needs to achieve the best outcome for them and their family.
