Olivia Brown completed a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours from Macquarie University and went on to complete a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Technology Sydney. She is an approved workers compensation practitioner in NSW under the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA).
Olivia has experience working with adults and adolescents in community and outpatient settings. She has provided evidence-based treatment for various mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, chronic stress, obsessive disorders and trauma. She has also worked at a multidisciplinary pain clinic where she delivered individual therapy and facilitated group programs.
Membership and Affiliations
Olivia is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS).
Olivia Brown has a special interest in the treatment of managing chronic health conditions, specifically chronic pain. Olivia is also interested in working with individuals with mood disorders (including depression and dysthymia), anxiety disorders (generalised and specific) and trauma.
Olivia is a warm and empathetic therapist who collaborates with clients to ensure treatment is tailored to their specific needs and goals.
